Answer: The fast depletion of the non-renewable concentrated sources of energy is known as the energy crisis. An energy crisis is a major cut back in the energy supply within an economy. The energy crisis begins when the use of fossil fuels exceeds to an extent that it becomes impossible to produce newer versions of it and the use creates an enormous amount of pollution. Also, burning of these fuels result in the major cause of global warming.

g. How can you motivate your parents for the use of alternative sources of energy?

Answer: I will suggest them for using CNG vehicles and solar panels for generation of electricity. Also, we can use solar water heaters and gobar gas plants on daily basis.

Answer: Biogas is an excellent fuel because it is a renewable source of energy. It's a clean and secure source of energy which reduces soil and water pollution and also prevents health problems. The two sources of bio gas are (i) dung and urine of cattle and (ii) landfill gas.

Nepal is second richest country in water resources and first in Asia. There are more than 6,000 rivers in Nepal. The total hydroelectricity generation capacity of the rivers of Nepal is 2 lakhs 2 thousands million cubic meter. 83 thousands mega watt's electricity can be generated from the rivers of Nepal but Nepal has just succeeded to generate 42 mega watts electricity due to the poor development of the country.
