5. Answer the following.
a) What is a cloud?
Answer: A cloud is a large mass of water droplets and ice particles.
Or,
Cloud is a large mass of condensed water droplets and ice particles.
b) How does a cloud formed?
Answer: The water vapour due to heat reaches high in the sky and due to condensation it changes into water droplets. The water droplets cling together and formed a cloud.
Or,
Clouds are formed when condenses water droplets cling together.
c) Why does rainfall occur from clouds?
Answer: Rainfall occurs from clouds because of heavy water droplets and if clouds collide at high hills or mountains.
d) Name four different types of clouds.
Answer: The four different types of clouds are-
1. Cirrus Clouds,
2. Stratus Clouds,
3. Cumulus Clouds, and
4. Nimbus Clouds.
